Academic Activity
Education, teaching, and selected experience
My academic activity combines doctoral research in deep learning and bioinformatics with teaching in neural networks.
Current Appointments
CONICET Doctoral Fellow
2025–present
My doctoral work explores predictive and generative deep-learning models for RNA secondary structure, supervised by Prof. Diego H. Milone and Dr. Leandro Bugnon. The work includes model development, data analysis, reproducible experiments, and evaluation across RNA datasets.
Teaching Assistant
Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Hídricas, Universidad Nacional del Litoral · 2026–present
I teach Neural Networks I and Neural Networks II as an Ayudante de Primera in the Ingeniería en Inteligencia Artificial program. The courses connect mathematical concepts with implementation decisions and practical analysis of neural models.
Education
PhD in Engineering – Computational Intelligence, Universidad Nacional del Litoral, 2025–present
Thesis topic: generative models for joint sequence-structure representations and RNA ensembles.
Licentiate Degree in Physics, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, 2016–2024
Thesis on machine-learning simulations of dissociative adsorption of methane on Pt(110)-(1×2).
Previous Research
Instituto de Física Rosario (IFIR), UNR-CONICET · 2022–2024
As an EVC-CIN undergraduate research fellow, I worked on neural-network interatomic potentials and computational simulations of methane adsorption on platinum surfaces.
